OLD LOG BIRDHOUSES, BIRD FEEDERS AND GNOME HOMES
Hand crafted in Dungeness Valley - Sequim/Port Angeles, Washington.
Whimsical Woods hand crafted all natural birdhouses,
bird feeders and Gnome Homes made from downed trees and other natural
materials
gathered from our woods on 14 acres on Washington’s Olympic
Peninsula. In addition to logs, we also use old, recycled and rejuvenated
fence and barn wood. We collect moss, pinecones and other natural
materials from the forest floor
to decorate with. Most of the dried flowers on our products come
from our gardens and other treasures
we find on our travels. We take great pride in using natural and
recycled materials. Our goal is to come as near as possible to duplicating
a dead tree snag birdhouse that you might find in most wooded areas.
Our property, located between Port Angeles and Sequim, affords us
an endless supply of dead trees, all kinds of moss, lichen, pinecones,
etc. with which we make our attractive real log birdhouses and Gnome
Homes. They
are very appealing to both birds and bird lovers, and they really
work!

For cat owners, we make “no-bird” houses that appear to be real,
but do not have openings so as not to attract the birds. Sorry cats!

We also make Gnome Homes, both large and small for garden landscaping. When set
into a garden and highlighted with low level lights at night, it becomes a very
whimsical garden focal point. Custom orders for large Gnome Homes are always
welcome.
Our local newspaper, The Sequim Gazette, published an article
about Whimsical
Woods (PDF 3.1M). You might enjoy reading more about
us!
If you are looking for that special, unique gift for yourself or someone else,
please view our various selections. With advance notice, we welcome visitors
to our barn studio here on the
beautiful Olympic Peninsula.
